"Generation Blue Water" is a groundbreaking CGTN documentary that explores one of the world"s rising naval powers— the People"s Liberation Army Navy. The film takes viewers aboard China"s two operational aircraft carriers, the Liaoning and Shandong, as well as its most advanced destroyer, the Type 055, to see the intensive training for blue water operations. This 50-minute documentary is the first ever on China"s carriers and carrier-based pilots, offering unprecedented transparency on the PLA Navy.
